Emergency Process

In case of an emergency, please call our office immediately. If we are not able to answer the telephone (i.e. after regular business hours), the message on the phone will give you emergency numbers and direct you where to go for 24-hour emergency care.

After regular business hours, please call the Ottawa-Carleton Emergency Veterinary Hospital (OCEVH), which is now open. The OCEVH is the city's new after-hours emergency facility. It is located at 1150 Lola Street in the east end of Ottawa. It is open on weekdays from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. The OCEVH is co-operatively owned, so you and your pet will be treated with the same compassion and professionalism that we strive to provide at March Road Veterinary Hospital and Dunrobin Veterinary Clinic. Your pet will receive care from our own veterinarians and staff, who are responsible for the meticulous continuity between the emergency facility and member hospitals.
